Fuel level gauge in sill tanks.

I have two stainless stell sill tanks in my 98' Discovery and would like to fit a fuel level gauge for obvious reasons.
The tanks are made by Safari Equip in the UK and would be partitioned inside to help prevent fuel slop.
Has anyone fitted a fuel level gauge to their sill tanks and how did you go about it?
I was thinking about using a capacitive type dip stick type sender unit but am open to ideas.
Thx.
S.

A sill tank isn't that deep that a float arm type sender shouldn't find room to operate somewhere. Falcon wagons (XD-XF) used to have self contained vertical fuel senders. Try a boat supplier if you want stainless steel to figure in your sender unit. VDO used to make universal senders, a catalugue might help.

I've got VDO fuel level senders in each. I used Longranger LED gauges on the dash (look a bit like an LPG gauge), one for each tank because they also have a button to turn on my fuel pumps that transfer to the main 120L main tank. Has worked well for 6 years
