TD5 oil cooler and radiator questions...

    Hey All,

    A couple of q's about TD5 ('99 defender 130) cooling system stuff:

    1. anyone have experience with the oil cooler repair kit that Paddocks sells (britpart)? Any advice on other options, mods or things to be aware of?

    2. Any reason why the radiator can't be rodded and repaired if it has a leak? Opinions on the full alloy jobs from the UK?

    Cheers,

    Adam

    Bueller.... Bueller....

Seriously though, anyone know anything about the oil cooler? I've read a couple of posts about mods where the matrix is replaced with a custom job - I'd love to know more!

    Cheers,

theres a reason that Britparts nickname is the vernacular of Excrement parts....

Ive replaced the cooler with a custom bent bit of hydraulic hose with the appropriate end flares and fittings for someone and it seems to be doing the job. I wouldnt reccomend it for someone whose running a good chip up OR drives heavy.

Thanks Dave. I don't like britparts either - hence the question before going any further.

    Cheers,
