Thread: td5 Defender radiator

hey guys

recently ordered a new radiator for my defender.

the radiator came with a metal plug type/restrictor thing along with a diagram on where to put it.

it tells you to put it into the fuel cooler on the end facing the front of the engine.

it also has a diagram of one radiator with one pipe blacked off and a big tick through it, and another radiator with the pipe open with a cross through it.

and sure enough the new radiator has a pipe blocked up and on the old radiator doesn't.
everything else the same

anyone know why?

i bought the radiator from land-rover-parts-shop.com.
it's a genuine one - part no. PDK000100
