Thread: Earthing the little black boxes

Looking under the seat of my 2002 TD5 Defener at the electronics.

There are a couple of separate earths. Is there any reason why I can’t run a single earth wire from the battery box to the “electronics” box and then earth everything to the single earth wire?

The first things that come to mind is to prevent ground loops and EMI (electromagnetic interferance) problems
