    Over charging

No not having to pay more. It`s a alternator question. It seem that there is too much voltage. On the voltmeter I`m getting fifteen plus volts and the power flickers a wee bit. So could this be the regulator on the way out ? Or the alternator ?

Hi Hall and as Camel Landy posted, but also check that all your earths are good.

Poor earthing can cause similar problems to that caused by a faulty regulator.

What ever the caause, try not to drive too much till you get it fixed because that high a voltage, while it won’t effect any of your electronics, it will cook your battery.
