The load leveler is under high pressure and is not user serviceable. There might still be places that can recondition them.
I think that if you raise the rear of the RRC with different springs the leveler will become redundant anyway.
Hi,
I have an 86RRC that has standard springs at the rear, I need to have it raised an inch or so, can anybody tell me the correct colour code to do this
The standard spring are 15mm , I think?? If I put 17mm dia springs in there , will it do the job???
AND? is there a kit avail. to rebuild the centre load leveller??
Cheers

I suggest to get LRA springs.
I have LRA orange in mine but this gives 2inches lift.
You will have to decide whether you want to have a working load leveller or not as you will need a much stiffer spring without, like Discos. 180Lb per inch is good with load leveller and about 220Lb+ without.
It looks like the Canadian site with all the available springs has been hijacked , so I cannot refer you, as my Trend Micro gives all sorts of malicious software warnings.
Anyway call Les Richmond and they will recommend a suitable spring.

First work out your total weight and tire size then buy springs to suit it just so much easier.

I got my leveller done by these guys for about $400-ish last year. You should also buy some new balljoints and gaitors as well. I wrote about this in someone's thread in, I think, the Classic Range Rovers section on this forum.
Don't forget that the reason the factory engineers put the thing in was so that they could have softer springs for a nice ride, with the leveller giving some load capacity.
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
