    Td5 AAP sensor

    Hi guys
Can anyone tell me roughly the cost to replace the aap sensor on a disco. Are there any recommended suppliers of these sensors? Also I've disconnected the sensor today and noticed that the car is easier to change gears as there is no rough gear changes and also noticed that when reversing the slight engine miss has Dissapeared

    Cheers bronson

    Hello,

I found that cleaning it can make a big difference. I've even done it on the roadside when the engine was playing-up too much.

There are 2 different types. They are not interchangable. (Different number of pins in the sensor/connector)

Cant remember the change over.... 2002 ish maybe...

MHK100820 is the later one which is also a BMW/MINI part

    Earlier one is MHK100600
