    Defender Flasher Can

    Where does the "nick nock box" live on a 1999 TD5 Defender???
    Mrs says her indicators failed to proceed today.
    Are they a generic item or special Lord Lucas part????

    It's with the fuse panel behind the gear leavers, you can buy a Narva can that works - sorry - too cold to go out to shed to get part no.

    Can anybody tell me if the flasher can that controls the hazzard lights is the same one that controls the indicators???
    I removed the one next to the hazzard lights now the speedo,fuel gauge and wipers are on holiday.
    Nothing is marked well enough on the fuse panel cover to work out what does what.

    flasher problem 2

    Hi, i put on my hazard lights this avo and it worked for a couple of minutes then nothing, no indicators, no hazard, i replaced the left can which is a siemens unit for a new narva unit, the headlights work but still no indicators, should i have replaced the right hand one? or is there another one in the dash somewhere?
    Repco had a narva 30amp unit with a fuse in it for $21.00. will try the right side tomorrow when got some daylight
