Thread: Check engine light

New to Disco land! Just picked up my 2008 Disco 3 SE V6 petrol from dealer, filled it up with 91 oct fuel. Now have the yellow check engine light on. Have checked fuel tank cap a few times. Light still on. Is there a way of resetting to turn light off? Whats the likely cause? Great forum site.

Check engine light is TAKE it back to dealer and let them sort it out, it must have some warranty? Did you buy it from a L/R dealer or just an ordinary car yard. L/R Dealer would most probably take interest ansd fix it. A normal caryard with pull both legs and fob you off. Check engine light should not come on.
