Thread: 89 rangie 3.5efi oil press switch test

I have no oil press switch operation in my 89 rangie .
Will grounding the single switch wire tell me if its a faulty sender if the light lights up ?

Yes that will work
I had the same in my 89 Rangie but it ended up being an open circuit track in the binnacle wiring that went to the actual indicator globe. I ended up soldering a bridge wire to the globe and all ok, that was many years ago and still ok
