Do you know if you were comparing OEM to OEM? reason I ask is I have now also been told there was only ever 1 type of A frame Ball, no difference between LL or Non-LL
And just to be sure we are on the same page, we are talking about the actual Ball. This is the part which has a tapered shaft that goes in the axle housing and a ball end that goes in the cast fitting that is sandwiched by the A frame arms?
cheers,
Serg
I cant see why they would be higher? The A frame arms are the same and bolt up the same, If its higher it will change pinion angle somewhat....The only difference I know of is the cast section the ball goes into has the goose neck/ball joint for the Load Leveller.
Does anyone have part numbers?
Can someone measure the length of a stock Non-Load Leveller ball joint.
ANR1799 is the original part number, supercedes to RHF500110 , all are the same dimensions, LL or not.
I use Lemforder OEM ones, very good quality.
JC
Thanks JC,
im thinking about using a MD extended type to help with the 2 inch spring lift I have. What are your thoughts?
Justin beat me to it,all OEM joints are the same size, aftermarket joints come in various sizes.
The length of the original joint is 100mm approx. by the way![]()

interested to see how this goes for you steveG....any photos of rear end options (Aframe area) would be interesting....
seems i am out voted,
So i can assume that my county is not sitting bum down and when i had the old and the new ball joints in my hand that it was just my imagination that they were not the same length.
