Roller bearing inside transmission brake activator

Just lost one of the little roller bearings from inside the transmission brake activator! Does anyone know how replaceable they are? Are they a special land rover part or available at any bearing type shop? Could you grind the sides of a ball bearing to get the same effect?

If you have the other one, it would be easy enough to shape a wheel bearing one to fit. Reality is, I bet 3/4 of them out there are that gunked up they don't roll anyway...

I don't think they are supplied as a separate part - not listed as such in the Series 3 parts book for example. You could try taking one to your local bearing supplier and see if they can match it, but I think it is unlikely. A scratch through a pile of discarded bearings might turn up a match, but from memory they are shorter than most parallel roller bearing rollers.

You may have to get a complete actuator, possibly a second hand one. What model is it off?
