    Bottle jack rebuild?

    Hi All,

So went to do a tyre rotation on the weekend using the standard bottle jack from the disco 1.... Started lifting the first wheel, almost got it off the ground then the jack stopped.

It was odd because it didn't sink at all, just wouldn't go any higher.... the seals definitely need doing as it has been leaking for a while but it seems like there is something else going on....

Has anyone rebuilt their jack? I can't find a rebuild kit on the net, but maybe I am looking in the wrong place.... Is it even worth it? Looks like I can get a brand new draper 2tonne jack delivered for $65 ish.....

    Cheers, Matt

Do a search, that should find it. It might be in the Files area.

Here it is (scroll down): http://www.aulro.com/afvb/local_links.php?catid=2

Maybe I need help with using the search tool because I couldn't find anything when attempting to search before posting a thread.... I generally try not to be lazy
