Front Air Locker Leaking
G'day all, well after 7 years with Air Lockers they have reared their first fault. The front locker is leaking air out of the diff breather. I put my finger over it to see how much pressure there was and the diff breather popped out of the diff housing. So I guess its time for the jack stands to be dusted off, axles out, drive shaft off and locker out. I'm hoping that something has just come loose with the lockers air supply and its an easy-ish fix. The diff still turns without and noise or vibration or any issues. The rear locker still engages. The air line to the front is ok, no leaks. Might just try changing the diff oil, make sure its full.

It might just need new o-rings. My rear locker was playing up and then I did my CW&P, so while I was there I replaced the 0-rings and it engages much better know. Every now and again it used to run the compressor and not engage.

new o rings are worth next to nothing, or a new actuator seal $25 ish.
just a lot of work to get at them.
