Exhaust places all stock them Craig. Thats where I get them. Take a sample along, I also get the knurled flanged locknuts from them too. Just out of interest, the Tdi manifold studs, M10, are a good fit for the end 4.

Isuzu makes a straight six truck engine which is renowned for snapping manifold studs, the fix is to fit torque tubes over longer studs,it's a permanant fix and would work on the Td5. Pat
Are Torque-Tubes = Headers?

Torque tubes are just that, reasonably thick wall 30 to 40 mm long tubing slips over a longer stud , one end of the tube presses where the nut normally would on the manifold, the other end, the nut is torqued up against. The idea being that expansion and contraction of the manifold and stud is ' cushioned' or absorbed by the tube, relieving the stresses on the stud aleviating stretching failures and warped manifolds as a result.
!995 onward 3.9V8 Discos use this method.

I'd come across a mention of something that looks similar on Alex Threlfall's blog covering a Td5 manifold change:

The kit is listed here:
Diesel Engines | Defender
Might be a good investment if it solves the warping issue.
