    Poor throttle response with Td5

The Td5 I've been servicing/repairing lately has an annoying problem off idle with the throttle,it seems the throttle doesn't work until it's doing 2k or more to the point where I have stalled it five times in the last hour driving it around.I want to set the throttle correctly as I don't think it's been done after it's head rebuild 12months ago,has anyone got the value's for the throttle position or can point me in the right direction as per a thread, the MAF value's would be handy too to see if it's doing it's thing. Thanks Pat

Throttle isnt able to be calibrated... It can be tested, but its essentially 0-Xv on one rail and X-0v on the other (linear change - sum of track 1&2 should = Xv) (I cant remember if it is 5 or 10v)

On 3 track the 3rd track just climbs? (IIRC) through the range.

Maf at idle 40-60... WOT 450+

This is from memory, I havent got my ref here and its been a while since I've worked on one!

on the money, Id have to look up the specs but from memory its 5v for TPS tracks because its a logic voltage.

one wire should be 5V supply, one the 0-5v and the other 5-0V

I remember someone had the values for the MAF wires,I'd like to check it,I disconnected the MAF and it didn't seem to hesitate or cough carry on as much as when connected, the thing just doesn't seem to be getting fuel, the off idle power is not there, nothing until 2k on the tacho. Pat

I would be making sure the wastgate isnt stuck open/seized.
If its a D2,also check the turbo modulator, its on the rubber hose between the turbo and intercooler pipe.If it hasnt been replaced best to bin it and replace, less than $50.

I have been researching the AULRO site with this exact problem from this thread.Today I took the car to the shop and it had a bad miss with light throttle. The car was cold and it felt like it just stopped and then accelerated again.Although it starts straight away. Its a 99 Td5 auto with 290,000 km on the clock.
It almost stopped once with light throttle but then cleared out once the car warmed up.At idle in park it revved smoothly and cleanly.Once the car was warm it went away.
I haven't checked under the bonnet yet as its been raining here in Melbourne and no shelter. What should I look for? I connected the Nanocom and there were no faults beside the EGR stuck valve one.But that is there because I have removed the EGR.
I have new silicon hoses on there and a boost gauge as well.It wasn't over boosting from what I could see from the gauge. The only mod I have done is remove the center muffler and put the silicon hoses on.Any help would be great.
    Cheers
    Chris
