Thread: Bullbar Fitment 2001 D2

I currently have the plastic trim that comes standard, it looks as though its attached in a million and one places. Am I right in assuming that all comes off for the fitment of a bullbar like the one here;


Looking up from beneath the car, this looks like it might be what those brackets go in to


Is it a terribly difficult job to do (with assisted muscle power of course) or are there more specialist tools etc required?

I fitted my Steel ARB bar with my dad, it was quite simple.
It takes a while to work out how the plastic trim is fitted, but once you remove it it's just standard crush cans off, new crush cans and bar on
I still haven't fitted my headlight washers or indicators, but that's another relatively simply job
