Max reliable would be in the order of 210ish pony 450Newtons with the rest of the vehicle more or less stock.. (so that backs JC)
ignoring engine choice but sticking in the 210/450 range of pony/torque
manual lt95 will deal with it but its a four slot an MSA or a smaller medium truck box if you wanted manuals and the 4hp24 would be your choice for an auto (easy fitup being the prime motivator on that one) or if you wanted something tank proof, go an alison auto, agricultural but tough as nuts.
I've always kinda toyed with the idea of one of the boss/wisconson aircooled 6 pot donks and putting a turbo on it...
