A valuable lesson learnt: Replacing a part with a new one does not automatically rule out that part being faulty. That's why parts made down to a price include a warranty: dodgy ones will always slip through the net.

Learning how to do basic diagnosis is the most valuable tool in your kit you'll ever have. A fortune is wasted by mechanics all over the world on the "replace random stuff until it runs again" scenario.
