Hi all, some time and many threads ago, I complained that my D2 TD5 seemed sluggish. At first I thought it was the turbo as the symptoms seems to fit in that it was like severe turbo lag, push the pedal to the floor and wait.
Then it got progressively worse when hot so I thought manifold bolt. Rudimentary inspection didn't find soot.
Over the last 6 months it now holds gears a lot longer than I first recall, not generally shifting until 2500 ish normal driving and 3000 up hill or towing. Still seems relatively smooth shifting tho.
Now I have detected a feint but getting worse (I think) shudder when accelerating from standstill or slow speed. Like a slipping clutch type of thing for a second or two.
I am starting to suspect the auto itself.
I'll do the stall test over the next few days.
I do want to replace the intercooler hoses though to rule that out, just have to get around to it..
Changed oils and filter about 3000 ago.
If I can work my nanocom, I'll post some readings.
Any thoughts?

If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
Dont forget the basics though Air filter blocked ?? Intercooler Hoses ,split elbow at turbo & split or internal collapse of S hose at intercooler. Also stuck EGR valve. You could also try bypassing the turbo boost modulator as these get full of dust.
