whats a Defender C130 ,
are you sure your hubs arent locked in .![]()
Looking for a bit of advice, my Defender C130 has a problem with the reverse gear, when reversing, usually when turning and reversing, the car drives like the hubs are locked in on a tarmac road, as if the diffs are winding up. Is that what is happening? - My hubs arent locked in. Or is my gear box or clutch not working? It only happens in reverse, no problems going forward, and usually when turing.
Cheers

Hi Griffiths, your Defender 130 has permanent four wheel drive and thus does not [ or should not] have hubs to lock in. It is possible that your centre differential lock is not disengaging correctly and this would give you some of your symptoms, although they should also be apparent when going forward as well. Certainly a puzzle. Try engaging and dis engaging the centre diff lock control. Sometimes they stick, especially when not used a lot. Hope this helps. Cheers, 130man.
