    Welding on vehicle chassis D2a.

    G'day all.
    Just wondering what precautions you should take if welding was required to say the chassis on a D2a.
    I am thinking, disconnect the battery and keeping the earth as close to the work as possible. Is there anything else you can do? I do not want to fry anything!!!
