This was approx $38 on evilBay, but it could have co$t me alot more. The old (approachig Use-By date) one is cleaned again...and back in.
Partially my fault, for not removing the hardened green thread-sealant, but I thought the manufacturer knew best, but would have hoped it was more robust than this...
On the bright side, it still had 2 ~ 3 more turns to go... better to break now than on 'nipping up'.The original needed MUCH more force to unscrew... (Several times to clean/test/clean again...test again... clean....)
The company is in the process of being advised, so no-names yet. - Only happened an hour ago. (Saturday afternoon. Edit:- - Company replied next day, Sunday morning...apologising for the 12 or so hours delay....)
Such a savage pre-emptive strike means the ghost of Sir Joseph Lucas is truly annoyed wtih me...

Were you never taught that you shouldn't tighten things up with a hammer?![]()
thats a fair effort, five stars to you!
I have had the one on the P38 out and cleaned half a dozen times and have been very heavy handed with it so I am concerned at how cheap the construction of that one must have been
