Range Rover Classic diff swap P38
What are the forum's thoughts on the technical challenges of fitting P38 diff components into a Range Rover classic axle housing please?

I think it would be a step backwards.
The P38 diff has a shorter pinion which doesn't help strength.
Also, Classic/D1 diffs are lot more plentiful if you need a replacement.
