Rear Wipers on 1994 D1.
On my 1994 Tdi 300 the rear wiper works intermittently. I have pulled the motor to bits, re tensioned the brushes and cleaned re tensioned the wiper contacts but all to no avail.
My Rave CD 'waxes lyrical' about 1995 on but nothing for pre 1995. I assume there is a rear wiper relay somewhere but it's not the same as for the '95. On mine that position is the horn relay.
If someone out there can direct me to 1994 circuits or can tell me where the rear wiper relay is hidden I'd be most grateful.
Basically my problem is that there is no main batt. feed to the rear wiper motor, only the switched batt. feed.

Re: Rear Wipers on 1994 D1.
The rear wiper on my 97 wipes 5 times upon activation of the switch then goes intermittent is this what you mean?

Sorry, not specific enough.
Sometimes the rear wiper works, some times it does not.
I've 'reco'd' the wiper motor/switch mechanism and this isn't the problem. The problem is power feed to the rear wiper motor. It is a hell of a lot easier to fault/find repair with a circuit diagram and some idea of the location of components
, unfortunately I don't have this info

Do I really have a fault ?
After many hours of stuffing around, with the drivers door opened the rear wipers are inhibited (no change with other doors) but the washers still work
.
The Land Rover God's work in mysterious ways.....................
, oops sorry can't say that; Cantina etc. all gone

Rear wiper does not work with the driver's door open. Standard feature designed by a LR engineer for some reason known only to himself.
