    Question Denso alternator plug source?

    Hi All,
    Where in oz online could I find an oval style denso alternator socket? The bit that remains on the wiring harness when you unplug the alternator on a Disco 2. Mines a bit stoofed after it was clogged with mud and I had to lever it off...

    Start here... Not exactly what you want, but if you ask the seller for more info/pics, you may be lucky.

    I agree, US shipping is..... pricey. I suspect that the high cost of "shipping'' is inflated a bit, that plug could come out in a padded bag, like what some UK suppliers would use... I now buy from USA as a last resort...

    Yeah was looking at their adds but hoped to buy from oz, wondered if there are any online electrical super-stores here but can't see anything. Off to the wreckers I think. Looks a common connector. Think it's part # is c1650 and haven't any cross reff despite all the other brands of same model alternator.

    Denso alternator plug source?

    Have you tried contacting Ashdown Ingram?
    They are stockist of Denso electrical equipment such as alternators.
    Not on line, but have Branches in WA, Kewdale, Osborne Park, Bunbury. Local postage
