can a arb air locker for a disco 2 fit a defender 130 around the same year

hi guys i bought a 2000 model disco 2 and am having trouble getting the upgrades i want and making it all legal so i don't get hassled by the police etc so was thinking of buying a 130 or maybe a 110 extreme defender.

Anyway my question is whether the arb air lockers i bought for my disco will be compatible with a defender in the same year range or possibly newer as i was thinking of buying myself a 2005 to 2010?

my reasoning, after having done the research and found that i can do most of the stuff i want to do to my disco more easily, for alot less and it will still be mostly legal without needing to mod plate everything i do.

The front diff centre is the same as the D2, so yes that will fit. My advice is to either get a 2002 or older 110/130 as they have the salisbury rear diff and airlock that, or fit a Disco 1 rear diff and the other ARB airlocker from the D2. If you brace the D1 diff housing sensibly they will be quite OK in a 110. In a 130 the bracing needs to be well thought out IF you are going to load it lots.
Of course if you have an ABS equipped 110 then a D1 diff from an ABS D1 will be required.

I think the new diff centre that Ashcroft is building will change the whole Salisbury/P38 debate shortly.
