    Diff Breathers for Freelander 2

I have a 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 SE and am planning some ventures which will require some creek crossings and was wondering what advice other members had regarding the fitting of diff breathers.

I wouldnt bother, since the FL2 uses independent suspension you dont have the same volume that can trap water like a live axle.

The likely hood of getting enough water in an IFS centre diff that wont evaporate is slim, if it sits in water long enough you will have larger problems than a little water .

It would not surprise me if the FL2 did not already have extended diff breathers - my FL1 certainly did on the front IRD.
