Td5 Auto. Will a V8 one do?

No we haven't got any, try Phil at jagprestige, I just got a replacement one from him for the V8, he may have a TD5 one. Although the V8s are probably easier to get as I believe he told me the Jags use the same ZF box for their V8s

Thanks for that, Mario. I believe 7 Series Beemers did too. I also think V8 Disco ones are more common as more of them seem to be wrecked, cos they're harder to sell.

I want to thank everyone who replied. It's all food for thought. I wnt to simply take the thing down to Omega and tell Dave to fix it, but there's a cashflow problem. It all flows away, rather than to. Grrr..

If its just the clutch packs that go it should be feasible to build a diesel spec auto of out a V8 one by swapping parts ?
