    Very slight surging at ~100km/h

I'm feeling a very slight 'surging' in my truck when I'm travelling at approx 100km/h. It's very subtle and the sensation is as if the the engine is missing a fraction at those revs however if I take it out of gear I still feel the surge.

I'm thinking it's something suspension related - I recently had taken 'Henry' on some fire trails in Bendethera and although the trails weren't too taxing, something may have been very slightly bent.

I've had a good look underneath and there's no sign of obvious damage. I was thinking that if the trailing arm was about by a small amount the rear axle could move/vibrate slightly and cause the surging sensation?

I'd love to hear from anyone who's experienced something like this and perhaps has a solution?

    Cheers, Paul

What are you driving? - edit: ah I see Henry = 130 Puma in sig.

Do you mean to say there is a noise and vibration at around 100kph?

Have you checked the UJ's on your drive shafts for play?

Sorry, I could've been clearer, the truck is in my sig below: 2011 Defender 130. It's only travelled 23,000km.

No noise or vibration per se just a very slight surge or lurching sensation. At first I put it down to an uneven road surface but it happens to often for that.

Could be a few things but start by checking the UJ's on your drive shafts for play.
    Will take a look soon.
