I'm not definite, but I suspect if you can get some remote fobs from wrecked D2's that run on the same frequency as your D2 and if you can access a Nanocom, you will be able to program the BCU to recognise those fobs. On eBay you can buy new Valeo D2 uncut keys that do not have the electronics in them, but you can get the keys cut to suit and then swap the electronics into the new key from the wrecked key.
Cheers

If the little buttons inside are broken , you can buy them from UK for about $5 for 3, and then get a big magnifyiing glass and light and solder in a new one.
If is just the case they are cheap on Ebay.
As long as one red light comes on they should be fixable
Note that the red light need a good battery.
If all this works and it still doesn't plip, then you may have the same suspected problem as me of a bad receiver in the roof, which you have to take out the headlining to get to.

Hi Phillip, no, there is no guts in the remote, i.e it is completely gone.... have no idea if the system works apart from that, but from the key all the lights operate so assume alarm and imoboliser are working, just no ultrasonics working.
Sleepy, th edealer here near me said 370 or 390 , this is way over the top as the guys who do the electronic boards probably get 30 bucks, I know dealers have to make money, but it is an older car now so they should reflect that in pricing IMO.
