How much do you want to spend? Many will recommend Bilstien or Koni (both great shocks) but a 2 inch lift will be their upper limit without limiting travel for the standard fitments.

De Carbon come well recommended as well.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with brands like EFS / Tuff Dog if you do any long or fast dirt or sand driving.

I spent a long time researching shocks and ended up with Bilstein 7100s. But won't fit unless you are doing other modifications as they are eye-eye. Depending on your spacers though it could be worth it as you can specify what rates and lengths you want.

    Thanx guys
I don't realy want to go eye to eye (yet)
But at the same time don't want to limit the travel that she does have at the moment
With the springs and spacers that I have she has a 3 inch lift
It all works well ATM but have to update the springs so was thinking of doing the shocks as well not only that they are old shocks so not 100% on what they are

    Hi Flagg,
Which 7100's do you have? and what valving?

Are they eye-eye with rubber bushings, or heim ends.

    Thanks

10" Remote Reservoir. 275/78 Front and 360/80 rear. I can't comment on whether or not that is right or works well as I've not fitted them yet - but will in a month or so.

I've modified them so that they have a pin on the lower mount, and fitted them with 100 series cruiser bushings. Currently they have rose joints up top, but will be replacing them with cotton reel bushes from superpro before fitting, as IIRC rose joins will not pass engineering.

Front turrets are easily change to D2 ones that have an eye fitting.

The rose joints are not very good for street applications. They wear and get noisy. I had mine cut off and small dia bush mounts put on, and these are much better. If you do run the rose joint, Tombie was saying you can get covers for them, and if that prevents them going clicky then I think the rose joints will be better. I doubt you would ever get pulled up for them.
    Cheers
