    What should I do

    Hey

I bought a few high ratio 1:1 transfer gears for my 110 project. Anyway what I thought were genuine parts are Bearmach and another brand not written on the box. So I paid a premium thinking (possibly assuming) they were genuine. I could have saved $150 getting them through another supplier. Would you take (post) them back or just use them??

    Personally I'd just use them.
I'd expect the supplier to be charging a re-stocking fee/percentage for you changing your mind. At the end of the day there's not going to be much in it and you will have had some extra hassle and lost time if you return them.
I've had no problems with the Bearmach stuff, and I don't recall hearing of any issues with dodgy transfer case gears from ANY manufacturer.

That wouldn't have been bought from a certain Sydney based eBay seller who always labels OEM parts (the stuff i got came in Bearmach packaging) as "Genuine" in his adverts by any chance?

If so I'd use the parts because they will be oem and of good quality.

It's a bit galling however to buy on the basis they are genuine only to find they are Oem.

    Cheers
