The UrbanPanzer wire cut only works on the pre-Facelift D2's. The D2a's came with a revised SLABS ECU that responds to engaged CDL by altering the ETC program to work with the locked CDL rather than disabling it.
For the D2a's the only way to disable the ABS system is to remove the pump fuse from the engine fuse box. I think some have proposed adding a switch to that circuit to give the option of disabling ABS altogether.
TBH I'd leave the ETC intact. You can always pop the bonnet and pull the relay if you ever find the need to disable ETC.
