    Air Locker PSI

Does anyone know what is the minimum PSI air lockers run off? My current compressor pumps at 150L minute but is a bit big to mount under the bonnet. Looking at Ashcrofts.

I've got my compressor set to 90psi and it works fine with my Ashcroft locker. Not sure what the minimum is though.

LPM isnt really relevant to PSI, its just how much air the compressor can deliver and is usually at a very low pressure. I suspect you would be very hard pressed to find a locker that had an air demand over 1lpm

The minimum PSI I have used to shift lockers was 30Psi but that was to shift a second hand vacuum operated diff. (actually the minimum is ~20inHG which is the typical vacuum available from a landy vac pump but Im just being pedantic now.)

Pretty sure mine is set to 100psi......I wouldn't be chasing the lower end of engagement pressures as it might not lock or take longer to lock.

You don't need much volume as its a tiny hose running to your locker.

Get a pressure switch around 90/100 and you will be right. I have a small 2L (approx) tank off the side of my compressor....this just means I can engage:disengage the lockers six or do times before the compressor needs to kick in
