Looks sweet, Ron. Are you going to paint the axle and casing?

Hi Ron, I have installed KAM lockers and new crown wheel & pinion in my D2 and used the old bolts they are still ok. All the exsperts informed me that the old bolts would be ok.
All the best with your project.

Paint? Does mud count? I might have some black paint in a spray can left over from another job.

In my case the "experts" would have been wrong, five out of the ten bolts needed replacing, so in went ten new bolts.

The heavy duty axle shafts from Ashcroft have arrived. I'm still undecided where as to where the air comp is going to go. Prime spot at the moment is in the second battery tray. I was also looking at the plastic tray where the jack normally goes but it looks like too hard of a job to make everything fit. I don't really want to put the air comp inside the car but may have another look down the back behind the rear stop light assembly.

    Cheers
    Ron
