    OK. Just got around to measuring.

    I agree with Brian that the tubes are perfectly round.
    Mine has had the ridges from spin welding the flanges on machined off - so it is the same diameter all the way through.

    I however measure 68.4 mm at either end and the middle of the long tube (cut in half).

    Now would it be a big job removing the ridges from the welding with say a die grinder?
    Also what size would you recommend to get the schedule 160 machined to? Would prefer to not have to press fit it.

    Removing the ridge (if any) would be easy.

    However I think we need to get a few more people to measure.
    If mine truly was 68.4 (measured with a steel rule - still need to unpack box with vernier) and Brian measured 68, that suggests some tolerance or variance.

    This could be because mine is a SIII and Brian's is a county (?), but knowing Landrover, any change would have been gradual and not corresponding with model changes...

    I just bought another 110 salsbury so as soon as i can get it here from swan hill i i will measure it up and order the pipe.
