Thanks Damien, I am starting to feel more confident in giving this a go. The hardest thing now is to get over to KM which is only the next suburb over during business hours and grab a kit and then get a couple of spare nights to get it done. The disco can be excused from the trip to the train during the week but it has to earn its krrp on the weekend lugging the horse float

Well I will pick up the kit tommorrow morning, bit concerning when the guy selling the kit also warns you not to touch the pump because if you get it wrong you can blow your motor up!! I suppose they are covering their bases but funny how you don't get the same warning when you purchase brake parts!

Yes we had a chat about that. I went and cleaned up the shed tonight, put the disco in and set up the tripod flood light and wouldn't you know it the dam pump wouldn't leak! Last weekend it just kept on dripping but tonight it did nothing. After about five minutes the was what you would call condensation.
Since I was in the shed I decided it was time to check the rear hub bearings and repack them. I may as well start from the rear diff and service everything forward and keep checking the injrctor pump to see if it gets worse.
I noticed tonight that it is loosing about a cup of coolant a week so I will have to track where that is going
