wheel size and offset for defender to improve turning circle

Im looking to purchase a wheel and tyre package for my 05 defender.

I just want some sunrasia style wheels with some 33" tyres. All the suspension is standard and it has standard wheels on it at the moment.

It would be a bonus if I could improve the turning circle but the main goal is better performance off road. And to make it look a little nicer!

So basically what I want to know is what wheel size and offset is best to fill the guards.

    Suggestions are much appreciated!

    Ollie

0 offset with a 6.5" or 7" rim fills the guards out nicely without spilling outside the flares.

if your running 33x12.5 i would run 8's with -25 off set to keep them away from the rear coil perch and front raduis arms

    Thanks for the responses!

Benny, would those figures work fine with the standard suspension setup?
And stay within the guards? Sounds kinda big!?
    Cheers

be fine with std suspension, personally I would rather 255 85s.

with the offset they will hang out side the guards but it looks sweet

and allow for better turning circle, you can not have one with out the other.
