    TD5 Nanocom

    Hi All,
I am looking to purchase a Nanocom for my TD5 and later for a PUMA. (I believe the Nanocom can be used on Puma once you purchase the VIN for it??)

I want to be able to upload ECU files, clear/read fault codes and use the temp screen when driving.

Is this the one l want?

    Code: NCOM01

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

That looks to be the correct one - it says Td5 Defender so you won't go too far wrong

And yes, you'd just need to buy the unlock code for the Puma when you wanted to add that functionality.

And before you order make sure you have a look at the details about the AULRO members discount on Nanocom purchases.

Also make sure you select the Australian currency on the order page.
I didn't realize you can select currency & I ordered in Euro, letting paypal trade the currency.
I don't understand why but it cost me more than it would of if I ordered in AUD.
    Costly on my part!

The exchange rates on the BBS shop are updated manual from time to time according to Colin, so they don't reflect the current state of global exchange rates.

In January/Feb and probably for the preceding 6 months it was about $20-30 cheaper using the Euro exchange rate than the $AUS one. So it really depends when the shop exchange rate was set and where the markets have moved since that point as to which rate is the best pick. Obviously as the Aus dollar has taken a dive and the BBS shop rate reflects the position of a couple of months back it's currently the best option to choose.
