    ZF 4HP22 Output Shaft (siily Q??)

    Will keep this quick as maybe its just a silly question.
    Ok so the transfer case is currently out of my vehicle.
    Last time i removed and refit the case I had problems starting the car. Thats seemed to be overcome by reattaching the handbrake cable. So suspected faulty earth and added an earth strap.

    This time I thought while the box is out, hand brake is disconnected and earth strap is removed, I would see if I could reproduce the same starting issue.

    So started the car, no issue at all. But while it was running I looked down at the auto output shaft (pictured below). I noticed it was not rotating true. it was out of alignment of sorts. Its not much but its easily noticeable.

    Normal?
    Abnormal?
    Should I be concerned!?

    You can almost tell it's not square in this image;

    Normal,

    The shaft moves around quite a lot

    It's supported in the transfer case input gear
