Jate Rings
Looking at recovery point options and have found these. Jate rings. I know that fundamentally that the hitching point should be on the horizontal plane so are these as good as bolt on recovery points or better?
Cheers

I use these on the front: PM632 | Jate Rings (pr) Galvanised
and these on the rear: Jate Rings
The front ones are slightly wider so fit over the factory fitted steering guard - with some encouraging taps from a 5kg lump hammer.
They're available retail in Oz - just google land rover defender jate rings

So really these are just land rovers version of a bolt on recovery point? Any special technique need to be used?
