Funnily enough I was thinking to myself as I was reading that, 'screw undoing the whole loom'.
Was told by a work mate who had the night before followed me home that the right rear blinker was not working. So stopped of and got a globe. Changed the globe and of course still not working. Checked the wiring from the globe., no apparent issues, but no power at the plug. Moved on to the indicator can/ relay. Should not be a issue as the front right is working. But find the blades out of the unit are quite lose. So replace the indicator can/ relay. Side note here. Old ute has been rewired and only with red wire.A little bit of black for some earth wires and only four short wires in yellow. Really top job done but would have been handy if they had used more than one colour.
So follow the yellow wire from the indicator can/ relay to a loom of twenty or more red wires.
After wee bit of fossicking around I found where the yellow wire is connected to the front and rear wires. All good there. So some were in a very well sealed loom of all red wires is a break between one end and the other end of the wire to the rear right indicator.
not. So going to do a bit of bypass surgery and run a new wire. Be damned if I`m going to strip the loom in the hope of finding a break in a wire that may even be beneath the wire insulation. Have in the past had once with a paj and once with this ute a break in a wire insde the insulation.

Well I found the problem. Got home tonight and was about to start the bypass surgery when I had a light bulb comes on in head moment. Ute has had a trailer plug fitted at some stage. Have a look at the point where the trailer blinker wire joins the ute blinker wire. They had used those crimp/ splice fittings and had cut the ute blinker wire. Over time it has separated and no blinker. So it has been soldered together now.
