Diff experts have a look please -video

A short video of my suspected diff problem . Diff centre is out of my disco and only ran a few minutes in the new truck .It has 4.37 ashcroft reverse cut ring and pinion with an airleaker inside , only 6 months old -professionally installed and worked without trouble in the disco . I installed new 2522 ashcroft axles and were suspecting them . In this video the rear propshaft is disconnected ,left axle/cv removed -the suspect one, and the airlocker engaged so i have a drive .

what sort of locker, I had to do a heap of rough fix work on a "must have been the installers fault, we wont fix it" ARB item that was dragging the engaging collar and snapping on corners as the diff action dragged the locking lugs past each other.

but that sounds something like youve done a side gear

Its an arb . Last big drive we broke an axle and had to come home with the centre diff engaged on the highway . moved it around the yard since then it sounded fine . Could that be a cause ? It literally ran less than 1 k in the defender before it developed the clicking sound.

on the locker I had to do the apature on the engaging collar was too narrow for the axles and was fouling preventing full disengangement and the axle float in the drive flange was making the difference between helacious knocking and normal operation.
