No. Series drive flanges have six bolts, coilers, including 110, Disco 1, RR classic, have five. There are probably other issues as well, but that one seems to be a show stopper.

P.S. Why would you want to?

spline count is also wrong unless you retro fit early rangie axles.

probably because he wants to tow it on an aframe or somethign like that.

Thanks......so are there five bolt free wheeling hubs??

It's been suggested I could use them on my camper trailer which has land rover hubs.......to be used as the trailers handbrake

Yes, they do exist - or so I have heard. A tiny number of people have converted their full time four wheel drive Labndrovers to part time, and presumably they are made for these. But I have never seen any, or even had a confirmed sighting by anyone else.

    But an interesting idea!

I put FWH,s on the rear axle of the 6x6 but changed the 5 bolt hub for a series 6 bolt as it has drums on the back anyway. I then had to get Mal Story to broach the fine spline into the drive member.
I used the Shute Upton hub and its been OK till the present.

AMV make a fwh that is usually supplied with part time 4wd kits for rovers.

Also be aware that the bolt circle of early rangie hubs, with SAE/NF bolts, is different to later models with metric bolts, and I know for certain that later drive flanges will not bolt up to the early hubs.
