Thread: D2 transfer case

i have just brought a transfer case from a 2004 D2,to replace my non locking case, & it has got 2 electrical switches side by side for the cdl,and none at the very front of front housing as the rave manual explains.Can anyone let me know what the 2nd switch is for.See attatched photo

They are both for the CDL, one is to tell the ECU it is in, one to tell it it is out. The D2a has this feature as the early D2 will cancel the ABS / TC when the CDL is engaged, the D2a hasn't got that feature, I am guessing this was LRs work around for the problem.
