    Terrain Response?

My FL2 found itself without Terrain Response, HDC and ABS the other day due to a wheel sensor being ripped apart and a wire dismembered. My question is, do I still have any form of 4wd? Does the standard/ non special program still send any drive to the rear if needed under those circumstances or do I only have 2wd? I was a little out of the way at the time so it would be good to know. If the same thing happened to a D3/4 would they be able to mechanically engage 4wd without the electronic traction control system working?

Does the FL2 have a centre diff? I would expect a D3/4's centre diff to operate as an open diff if a wheel speed signal is missing (it really has no option) so all wheels will drive as long as they have traction. TC may be smart enough to operate on the "axle" where both sensors are working.

FL2 has a viscous coupling unit that seems to get "locked" when you engage one of the TR programs. When the TR programs aren't engaged then the rear only gets drive if the front loses traction. It's all a bit smoke and mirrors really and you can't be sure 4wd is actually available. I thought someone might know.
