400m isn't anything to a affect a TD5, that's approx. 1200ft
1000s of places higher or equivalent in Aust.
Relative pressure drops approx. 1hpa/30ft.
Based on ISA (international Standard Atmosphere)sea level of 1013 hpa
and SL temp of 15deg C. Temp drops average approx. 2deg/1000ft/305m
Most of Aust rarely has an ISA temp, rather some 5 -10 higher on average, so baseline readings need to be considered on the actual conditions of the day if you Really want to get anal.
Your Alt is relevant to quantify/ confirm baseline readings but wont be the cause in your performance issue.
You can be far more pedantic than this based on the actual conditions experienced, however, the main point being you can apply the basic correction above to 'eyeball" your readings.
