This stuff: 3M Strip Calk 08578 Black
It seems to be the best stuff for sticking your floor back together, etc., but I can't find it online. At least, without buying a minimum of 300 lots or whatever it is as above. Has anyone bought this without the usual mucking about involved in chasing down an odd product?

Thanks - and how did you figure out that part number? Anyway, that link was for shipping from the US but I used the number to find it here: STRIP CALK BLACK BOX OF 60 1FT LENTHS which, despite the confusing website, seems to ship from Oz, so we'll see, since I bought some. Thanks again!

Fishpond are good to deal with Davo, I buy a lot of books through them![]()
Sweet .. thanks for that, the perfect stuff for Citroen DS windscreens and roofs. I'd had a bugger of a time finding any non-hardening ribbon type mastic too.

I know, but that particular item said something like "ships from the USA", which can be complicated. I don't know what it is with the Seppos but postage is often much more expensive and can take a lot longer than from England. It's like they're not really sure about dealing with that outside world.

Well . . . two months later and I finally got it.
The order from OLCT never arrived, and turned out to be from the US anyway, but once they answered my emails they were good about refunding my money.
So, I ordered some from the Fishpond link above, and it arrived yesterday, obviously old stock and all congealed and stuck to the wrapping paper. Useless.
As I'm about to take out the floor on my Range Rover, can anyone think of something else to use when I put it back together? It's getting to be a bit urgent.
