I've used ep90 in the past. But the jack I have has a rubber stopper high up on the shaft - pull this out and you've got access to the jack ram's resevoir.
The Framm jack that I use for my 101 does not stay upright in the toolbox despite being jammed in and as a result it has lost some fluid. It will raise to full height but not hold any weight so I need to refill the fluid and then bleed any air out.
With it in the fully extended position I have tipped it on its side and put some oil through the hole where the screw is to let the jack down and it works a little better but is not right.
So how do you replace fluid and bleed a hydraulic jack. What oil is normally used.
Thanks
Garry

To bleed a jack, fill it to the correct level with oil, open the lowering screw, pull up the ram, invert the jack and push against the base plate pushing the ram against the ground. Bubbles will rise to the inlet of the ram and be ejected through the pump and into the reservoir.
Thanks for the responses - all seems to have worked and jack is working.
Cheers
